How to Film a Comedy Special

In this session, we covered some of the practicalities of shooting a comedy special, things to consider, price points, options for distribution, and pros/cons.

Stuart Laws is a comedian, director, and the founder of Turtle Canyon Comedy. He has produced or directed some of the best comedy specials of the last 10 years including James Acaster's Repertoire (Netflix) and Hecklers Welcome (HBO), plus specials for Sindhu Vee, Ed Gamble, Nish Kumar, Rosie Jones, Suzi Ruffell, Harriet Kemsley, Ian Smith and Sikisa. He has also directed specials in the USA and India.
